Golden hour (approximately 7-8pm in summer, 4-5pm in winter) is absolutely magical at The Elvetham. The light across the Hampshire parkland and through the mature trees creates stunning, romantic portraits. The Italian Gardens offer countless beautiful backdrops, and the sweeping lawns are perfect for those classic, timeless couple shots. I also love the soft natural light within the mansion - the ornate period interiors and grand staircases create dramatic, romantic settings. While we don't typically shoot engagement sessions at The Elvetham itself, we can arrange your shoot at beautiful locations near my studio, or at a spot that's meaningful to you as a couple. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to work together, understand your style, and ensure you feel completely relaxed when your wedding day arrives. Engagement sessions can be added to any wedding photography package.
