Golden hour (approximately 7-8pm in summer, 4-5pm in winter) is absolutely magical at Rivervale Barn. The light across the Hampshire countryside and reflecting off the lake creates stunning, romantic portraits. The landscaped gardens and lakeside areas offer countless beautiful backdrops, and the surrounding fields are perfect for those classic, timeless couple shots. I also love the natural light flooding through the barn's glass doors - it creates the most gorgeous soft glow. We can always find beautiful spots regardless of the time, and I'll work around your timeline to capture gorgeous portraits whenever works best for your schedule.
Do you offer engagement shoots at the venue?

Yes! I offer engagement shoots as a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. While we don't typically shoot engagement sessions at The Elvetham itself, we can arrange your shoot at beautiful locations near my studio, or at a spot that's meaningful to you as a couple. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to work together, understand your style, and ensure you feel completely relaxed when your wedding day arrives. Engagement sessions can be added to any wedding photography package.
