Golden hour (approximately 7-8pm in summer, 4-5pm in winter) is absolutely magical at Botleys Mansion. The light across the Surrey grounds and through the mature trees creates stunning, romantic portraits. The formal gardens and walled garden areas offer countless beautiful backdrops, and the sweeping lawns are perfect for those classic, timeless couple shots. I also love the soft natural light in the Orangery - those floor-to-ceiling windows create the most gorgeous glow. We can always find beautiful spots regardless of the time, and I'll work around your timeline to capture gorgeous portraits whenever works best for your schedule.

Yes! I offer engagement shoots as a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. While we don't typically shoot engagement sessions at The Elvetham itself, we can arrange your shoot at beautiful locations near my studio, or at a spot that's meaningful to you as a couple. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to work together, understand your style, and ensure you feel completely relaxed when your wedding day arrives. Engagement sessions can be added to any wedding photography package.
You'll typically receive 1,000-1,500 fully edited, high-resolution images from a full-day wedding at Botleys Mansion, depending on your timeline and guest count. Every meaningful moment, detail, and emotion is captured - I don't limit your gallery by artificial image counts. You'll receive preview images within 24-48 hours after your wedding day, so you can relive those first moments while they're still fresh. Your complete professionally edited gallery will be delivered within 10-14 days in an online gallery with full download rights.
