What's the best time of day for couple portraits at Cain Manor?
Golden hour (approximately 7-8 pm in summer, 4-5 pm in winter) is absolutely stunning here. The soft light filtering through the woodland, across the gardens, and through the Orangery's glass roof creates beautiful, romantic portraits. The glass-roofed Orangery also provides gorgeous natural light throughout the day, even in overcast weather.

Yes! I offer engagement shoots as a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. While we don't typically shoot engagement sessions at Cain Manor itself, we can arrange your shoot at beautiful locations near my studio, or at a spot that's meaningful to you as a couple. An engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to work together, understand your style, and ensure you feel completely relaxed when your wedding day arrives. Engagement sessions can be added to any wedding photography package.
